This Privacy Policy explains how NextAI Expo ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit nextaiexpo.com, register as an attendee, apply as an exhibitor, or otherwise use the NextAI Expo Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly:

Attendee registration details — currently just an email address (any email works to browse; verifying an official work email is required to message exhibitors). If you go on to set up a profile for the event, we also collect your company, job role and category interests.
Exhibitor application details — currently just an official work email address. If your application is accepted, we then collect your company name, website, product description and showcase page content.
Messages you send through the direct messaging feature with exhibitors.
Any information you submit through our contact form.

Information collected automatically:

Device and browser information, IP address, and general location.
Usage data such as pages viewed, swipe interactions, and time spent on the Service, used to personalize your feed and improve the product.
Cookies and similar technologies used for session management, preferences, and basic analytics.

3. How we use information

To create and manage your attendee or exhibitor account and showcase page.
To personalize your swipe feed based on stated interests and interaction history.
To facilitate direct messaging between attendees and exhibitors.
To review exhibitor applications and, where an exhibitor chooses an optional paid add-on, to process that payment.
To send event updates, confirmations, and — where you've opted in — marketing communications.
To maintain the security and integrity of the Service and prevent abuse.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

With exhibitors: if you message or interact with an exhibitor's showcase page, relevant profile details (such as your name and company) may be visible to that exhibitor to facilitate the conversation.
With service providers: vendors who help us operate the Service, such as hosting, email delivery, and payment processing for optional exhibitor add-ons, under confidentiality obligations.
For legal reasons: if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your interests and swipe history, and understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features of the Service, such as feed personalization.

We retain attendee and exhibitor information for as long as needed to operate the event, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and comply with legal obligations. After the event concludes, we retain records for a reasonable period for reporting and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize data that is no longer needed.

7. Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at hello@nextaiexpo.com. You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

NextAI Expo is intended for a professional business audience and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International users

NextAI Expo is a virtual event with a global audience. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in a country other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.
